You Lord are the lifter of my head. When you lift my head my posture changes. Shifting me from feeling defeated, downcast, fearful, and anxious to joy-filled and peaceful once again. You wrap your arms around me like a shield. Protecting me from the hand-to-hand combat that comes against me in the natural and from the authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms.

We must put on God’s armor every day to protect us as we confront the slander, for we are destined for all things and will rise victorious.

Put on the belt of truth to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on the breastplate of righteousness that covers your heart. Cover your feet with the blessings of peace, and always stand on your feet alert ready to share.

In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the fiery arrows coming from the Evil One. Embrace the power of salvation to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the sharp sword of the word of God.

Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. 

God fights for you as he did for David when his son Absalom was seeding t kill him. When the battle is at hand remember God fights for you. Strap on your armor. You’ve already been declared the victor.
