It is the Lord that goes before you to fight your battles. Do not lack courage. Do not be afraid. Do not panic. Do not be anxious. 

The number of people against you may be more than those that are for you, but it is the Lord who will bring you out of this place.

Israel is a small nation surrounded by great nations. The great nations around them are superior in every way. When one of these great nations would come again Israel it would be logical for the people of Israel to be afraid.

Deuteronomy 20 says God gives Isreal a reason not to fear, “for the Lord your God is He who goes with you.”

God is with you. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He has always been faithful to Israel, and He will always be faithful to you.

Psalms 115:14-18 AMP
May the Lord give you [great] increase, You and your children. May you be blessed of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. The heavens are the heavens of the Lord, But the earth He has given to the children of men. The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor do any who go down into silence; But as for us, we will bless and affectionately and gratefully praise the Lord From this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
