Esther fasted and asked the Jewish people to join her. On the final day of the fast Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of King Xerxes palace opposite his throne room. King Xerxes’ throne would’ve faced the main entrance of the palace.

God opened King’s Xerxes eyes as he was looking around at the people in his court. Instead of getting angry that he saw his Queen unannounced in his court, the Bible says “she found favor in his sight;”

He invited her to approach him and offered her up to half of his kingdom. Her response was humble. Her request was to ask if he and Haman would come to a banquet she had prepared for them. He agreed, and her plan to save God’s people was set into motion.

When God is in the plan he opens the doors and provides the favor. We can trust that His plan will be fulfilled to see His purposes accomplished through His people.
