Eagles are majestic birds God created to rise from the ground in powerful flight. They are an emblem of strength and freedom.
The Hebrew word for eagle is ‘nesher’. According to definitions.net, eagles are the highest flying bird with a wingspan of nine feet or more. An eagle flies high above the other birds of the sky. Eagles can even fly safely above a storm.
When the trials of life come they can be exhausting. They can add weight to an already weary heart, but God is with us. He stands with us in the trial.
Isaiah 40:29-31 says those who are weary, tired, and stumbling badly will gain new strength when we come to the Lord in the expectation that he will move on our behalf.
Look for him in the trial. Put your hope in him. He promises to meet us. When he meets us we will gain new strength as the Holy Spirit ministers to us. He will renew our minds and souls giving us the ability to lift our eyes beyond the trial.
Just like the eagle lifts his wings to fly above the storms of life, the Lord will lift you up on wings like eagles. He will draw you close. You will feel the comfort and strength he gives. You will walk and not grow tired.
Be encouraged. Lean in. He is waiting to raise you out of the trial.

Isaiah 40:29-31 AMP
“He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power. Even youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.
