Jesus came to seek and save the lost. His desire to reach every heart, giving them the opportunity to receive Him.

In Mark 4, Jesus tells the parable of the mustard seed. He does not tell the reader the meaning of the parable, but instead, the Bible says that Jesus explained its meaning only to His disciples.

I believe there was someone or multiple people in the crowd Jesus was speaking to that needed to hear just the parable.

John 1:1 says, “the word was with God and the Word was God.” The word of God is alive and living as much today as it was when the words came from Jesus’ mouth.

I have nothing to back or prove my thoughts about this scripture, but I know the heart of God. He speaks words that always have a purpose.
